Outside the exhibition
MIXC LIUZHOU PROJECT began on June 30, 2018, hosted by the shopping mall called the MIXC LIUZHOU, curated by KAI.
In the following three months, the project invited the Dutch artist Rick Berkelmans to design the top 10 elements representing the Liuzhou city. The Liuzhou’s top 10 elements is selected by Liuzhou people and presented to the artist along with the stories form Liuzhou’s KOLs. The artist Rick Berkelmans created not only an art work to show the modern charm of 10 elements, but also 10 elements separately. On September 30, the exhibition of MIXC LIUZHOU PROJECT opened.

To Read
We displayed of large-scale works of art with a sense of ceremonies, the documentary of recording whole project, the selection of 50 messages from local Liuzhou people, the stereoscopic presentation of the Liuzhou elements created by artist and the Liuzhou story from KOLs.

To play
Based on Liuzhou’s top 10 elements created by artist, we developed an AR interactive experience based on the WeChat. The public scans the artwork through the small program port, watches the dynamic effects of the it and assess to the unique photo page.
During the opening day of the exhibition, we also invited artist to visit and interact with the public!

To memorize
We create a scene according to emails and sketches from artist called “Artist in the scene”. Not only to share the progress of creation, but also to bring up a photo hot spot.
Before the day of opening, the artist also visited the exhibition and share his regards to Liuzhou people by drawings.

To Buy
This exhibition has four kinds of exhibition products : umbrellas, children's puzzles, the fridge sticker of Liuzhou 10 elements and the city mugs based on the art works.
In China, shopping mall is no longer just a place to buy things, but an important choice for causal life. A shopping mall can bring things to people that is enriching people’s lives. In this case, curated by KAI, what the MIXC LIUZHOU brings to the people is to see the possibilities and to be proud of their own city.
Behind the Sence
The two special exhibition products that just for memorize this project — the figure of an ancient called Liu Zhongyuan, one of 10 elements, for the artist Rick and for KAI.
