Co-designed by Huawei and the famous French design team Saguez & Partners, Huawei's global flagship store has got prepared since 2017. It has altered the traditional image of Huawei's offline retail stores in the past and strives to become an urban cultural landmark, an urban parlour connecting Huawei's brand with consumers, and an offline social platform for consumers to enhance the relationship with friends and family, to learn and share, and enjoy a great time here through high-end design, advanced science and perfect experience.
Huawei's exploration and innovative breakthroughs towards the future, just as how eBoy, the father of pixel art, shaped pixel art in the early 1990s, and created a new aesthetic practice through the combination of technology and art.
As the 2019 collaborated artist invited by Mixc World and KAI, eBoy created an extended pixel art version for the building of Huawei's global flagship store, based on the artwork "Pixel World" customized for Mixc World. This plan, with eBoy's more trendy and younger-generation style, blended with the opening scene of the flagship store, further presents to the public the lifestyle breakthrough behind the architectural design.
KAI assisted eBoy to participate in the merchandise development, and completed together 4 limited art gifts for Huawei’s opening, including T-shirts, computer bags, canvas bags, and badges, as made up of limited gift boxes.

Founded in 1997, the experimental art group eBoy, consists of the 3 German artists Kai Vermehr, Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital, as one of the earliest art team creating art and publishing works via the internet, and the pioneer using the pixel art for creation, thereby known as the “Father of pixel art”.
